St John the Baptist Church
Our school is closely linked to St. John the Baptist Church in Wittersham, a vital part of our local community. Located on The Street, St. John the Baptist Church is not only a place of worship but also serves as a social hub where the village and various groups can come together in fellowship. As part of a larger network of nine Christian churches united by faith in God, St. John's plays a central role in both the spiritual and social life of the community.
We work closely with the local church clergy to enrich the spiritual life of our school. The clergy support us in a variety of ways, from leading collective worship to helping us organize faith-based events throughout the year. In addition, every Monday, our whole school attends Church Worship at St. John the Baptist Church, where we come together as a community for a time of reflection and praise. This regular tradition strengthens our connection to the church and deepens our shared understanding of the Christian faith.
Their partnership is vital in ensuring that our Christian ethos is deeply embedded in all aspects of school life, and we are grateful for their ongoing support.
