Wittersham Head Students

Each year, we select a Head Student Team—an honour that is eagerly anticipated by the whole school. The announcement is made early in September and marks the beginning of their leadership journey. The Head Students are chosen to represent the school and act as role models for their peers, embodying the values we hold dear.

A number of factors are considered in their selection. The children vying for the roles are asked to prepare a speech, which they present to the whole school. Our school community then votes for the candidates who best demonstrate a positive attitude to learning, who embody our Christian values, and who are committed to representing the voice of the pupils throughout the academic year.

The Head Student Team take on a variety of responsibilities throughout the year. These include showing visitors around the school, attending special events, and representing Wittersham School on a range of occasions. Through their leadership, they inspire others, set a positive example, and play an active role in shaping school life.

This year, our Head Students are Archie and Aiya, with Theo and Lilly taking on the roles of Deputy Head Students.
